First-round tie against St. Tönis

Eintracht Frankfurt will travel to Tönisvorst in North Rhine-Westphalia in the first round of the DFB Cup in 2026/27.

The draw for the first round of the 2026/27 DFB Cup was made at the German Football Museum in Dortmund on Saturday evening, handing Eintracht Frankfurt a trip to fifth-tier outfit SC St. Tönis 11/20.

The club, based in the town of Tönisvorst in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, reached the Lower Rhine regional cup final in 2025/26, and currently sit fifth in the ‘Oberliga Niederrhein’ regional league, with one round of matches still to play.

Fixtures are scheduled to take place between 21 and 24 August, with the exact dates and kick-off times to follow in due course.
