It's safe to say the season hasn't gone to plan for Borussia Dortmund, with Tuesday's 1-0 DFB-Pokal defeat to Wolfsburg meaning they have lost four of their last five games in all competitions.
Fingers are being pointed at head coach Nuri Sahin and sporting director Sebastian Kehl, as well as the squad - and according to Sport Bild, the Black and Yellows are ready to offload five prominent players.
One of them is Donyell Malen, who was already heavily linked with a transfer during the summer transfer window. He could finally get his move on in the summer of 2025, a year before his contract expires, with Dortmund likely to want to cash in on him to avoid losing him for free the following year.
Club captain Emre Can, who has been the subject of much online criticism after an unconvincing start to the season, and vice-captain Julian Brandt, who has not been as consistent as the club would like, are also among those who could be on the move.
Finally, the report mentions the currently injured Niklas Süle, who is said to be frustrated with his role as a substitute, and Marcel Sabitzer, who has publicly expressed his frustration at being deployed on the wing rather than in central midfield by Sahin.
