Nottingham Forest reach the final fortnight safe and eight unbeaten in the Premier League.

Manchester United await on Sunday, 12.30pm, then Bournemouth to finish 2025/26. According to Nottingham Post, several expiring deals mean some could be playing their last games.

Angus Gunn weighed up a January exit amid limited minutes, stayed, then debuted the following month. His only outing looks a 1-1 draw in February, when he replaced Matz Sels. Summer goalkeeper plans will be reviewed and he may seek regular football.

Stefan Ortega arrived on a short-term deal and said he would have liked to return to Germany. The 33-year-old has impressed in 10 games, has been Vitor Pereira’s Europa League pick, and might move on, likely backing up Sels in the final league fixtures.

Omar Richards is set to leave without a competitive appearance after injuries since his 2022 arrival. He has spent this season at Rio Ave, after Olympiacos, also owned by Evangelos Marinakis. His next move is unclear.

Willy Boly was omitted from Europa and Premier League squads for the run-in and has almost certainly played his last Forest game. He will not feature again. The 35-year-old made two appearances, against Swansea City in the League Cup and as a late sub against Real Betis.

January loanee Lorenzo Lucca has struggled, with nine appearances, three starts and one goal. A reported £35 million option looks hard to justify. A return to parent club Napoli is on the cards.
