According to Globo.com, Flamengo and Corinthians are working on a loan for Allan, with talks centred on finances and hope of a resolution on Monday.
Flamengo do not want a free loan and are seeking compensation. Corinthians' current proposal contains no cash, and the club considers the move difficult if a fee is required.
Allan has had little room under coach Filipe Luís. He drew interest during the window, but Flamengo were tough to persuade over a departure.
Dorival Júnior wants the midfielder, has spoken to him and is pushing Corinthians to conclude an agreement. Allan’s salary is viewed as another obstacle under the club’s wage parameters.
Corinthians have chased a holding midfielder since Maycon joined Atlético-MG. Recent talks with Vinicius Souza of Wolfsburg and a verbal agreement with Alisson of São Paulo also fell through on financial grounds, and the role remains a priority.
São Paulo, Santos and Vasco explored moves for Allan too, but finances hampered progress. Flamengo, while not counting on the player, consider compensation necessary given their outlay and the need to recruit a replacement, with Saúl already sidelined after left ankle surgery.
Allan’s Flamengo contract runs until December 2027.
