Flamengo are tracking Igor Jesus as Nottingham Forest battle the drop.
Brazilian journalist Julio Miguel Neto says the Rio de Janeiro club are closely monitoring the striker’s situation and could act if Forest go down.
The report adds Flamengo are also keeping tabs on West Ham forward Taty Castellanos, who only arrived last month, with the Hammers in similar trouble.
Jesus is valued at €20 million, twice what Forest were said to have paid Botafogo when he signed a four-year deal in July. Since then the 24-year-old has led the line, scoring 11 in 33, including two in the Premier League, and he has made his Brazil debut.
The interest follows unsuccessful moves for Cruzeiro’s Kaio Jorge, Al Hilal pair Marcos Leonardo and Darwin Núñez, and Tottenham forward Richarlison.
