Flamengo’s week brought a flurry of updates after a 3-0 win over Remo, with the Libertadores draw made, the Under-20 final fixed and Bruno Henrique’s future addressed.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Conmebol conducted the 2026 Libertadores group-stage draw on Thursday 19. The holders are top seeds in Group A and will face Estudiantes (ARG), Cusco (PER) and Independiente Medellin (COL). The group phase is scheduled to start on Tuesday, seven April.

The 2026 Copa Libertadores Under-20 final is also set. On Thursday night 19, Santiago Wanderers (CHI) came from behind to beat Palmeiras 2-1 in the semi-final, so Flamengo meet the Chileans on Sunday 22.

Flamengo now seek a fifth Libertadores title.

Club idol Bruno Henrique is under contract only until December. President Bap discussed renewal and said the forward’s place is at Flamengo. He added that Bruno Henrique could remain at the club for as long as he wishes to play, leaving only when he chooses to retire.
