Florentino Pérez: Ibrahima Konaté ‘to play’ for Real Madrid next season if re-elected

Florentino Pérez, running for re-election as Real Madrid president, has named Ibrahima Konaté as his first planned signing if he stays in charge.

“I can already assure you that, if I remain president of Real Madrid, one of the best defenders in the world, Ibrahima Konaté, will play for Real Madrid from next season. And he will not be the only great defender to join if I continue to lead Real Madrid. If I am elected president, Konaté will be my first signing and he will play for Real Madrid,” he told AS.
