Fluminense can go top of Group C in the Libertadores

Fluminense host Independiente Rivadavia this Wednesday (15) at 9:30 p.m. in the second round of the 2026 Copa Libertadores. After drawing their opener against Deportivo La Guaira, the Tricolor have the chance to take the lead in Group C this round. In the other Group C match of the second round, the Venezuelan side drew 1-1 with Bolívar in La Paz.

As a result, the current standings place Fluminense third with just one point, level with Bolívar. La Guaira are second with two points, and Rivadavia lead the group with three. If they win this Wednesday (15), Luis Zubeldía’s team will move to four points and take over the top spot in Group C.
