Fluminense waiting on Jemmes this Friday to finalise defender’s signing

Fluminense has secured the signing of defender Jemmes as the first reinforcement for the 2026 season. The player is expected next Friday (26) at the Carlos Castilho Training Center to undergo medical exams and sign his contract with the tricolor. The information came from agent Paulo Roca on the Central do Mercado program on GeTv.

“We signed the pre-agreement. The clubs have already reached an understanding and have come to a final agreement. We are waiting for Jemmes to arrive on Friday in Rio for the medical exams. If everything is in order, and I believe it will be, we will sign the contract,” stated the agent.

The Mirassol accepted Fluminense's offer, which will spend about 4 million dollars (approximately R$ 22 million at the current exchange rate) for 70% of the player's rights. The contract will be for five seasons. It is also agreed that Fluminense will pay the R$ 22 million in installments.
