Foden And Haaland Get 7.5 | Manchester City Players Rated In Solid Win Vs Crystal Palace

Manchester City locked horns with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Mancunian outfit made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 41st minute when Erling Haaland got his name on the scoresheet. Pep Guardiola’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Phil Foden doubled his side’s lead in the 69th minute before Haaland scored again from the penalty spot in the 89th minute. The contest finished with Man City securing a solid 3-0 win away from home.

He made a few solid saves at the back and earned an important clean sheet this afternoon.
RB: Matheus Nunes – 8/10
Nunes performed his defensive duties well and made one good chance in the final third. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CB: Ruben Dias – 7/10
He put his foot through the ball when needed and was tidy with his ball distribution.
CB: Josko Gvardiol – 7.5/10
Gvardiol gave a good account of himself defensively and won a few aerial duels as well.

LB: Nico O’Reilly – 7.5/10
He came back to defend when required, but offered very little going forward.
CM: Bernardo Silva – 7/10
Silva earned possession back once and made two promising runs with the ball.
CM: Nico Gonzalez – 7/10
He anchored the midfield with conviction and made two good runs with the ball.
CM: Tijjani Reijnders – 7/10
Reijnders was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
RAM: Rayan Cherki – 8/10
He was a constant menace in the final third and ended the game with an assist to his name.
LAM: Phil Foden – 8.5/10
Foden caused a lot of headaches for his marker and managed to score in the 69th minute.
ST: Erling Haaland – 8.5/10
He was a real handful for the opposition defenders and did well to score twice for Man City this afternoon.
