And in one of the clips, Falcao was seen talking about Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe, as well as discussing how Florentino Perez approached to sign him.

During the interview, Falcao also revealed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had tried to sign him during his time at Atletico Madrid.

Falcao revealed the rather unusual approach from Perez, stating (h/t Mundo Deportivo), “Florentino would come up to me and put the napkin there. I’d say, ‘No, please hide that napkin’.”

The Colombian forward did manage to control the temptation of joining Real Madrid, a direct rival of Atletico Madrid, a club he featured for 91 times.

What Falcao said about Mbappe

Meanwhile, Falcao acknowledged that Mbappe is a talented footballer but criticised his tendency of not passing the ball.

“This kid is really good, the thing is, he doesn’t pass it on to anyone,” the veteran forward told Mario Suarez.

It must be noted that Falcao and Mbappe were once teammates during their time together at Monaco.

In fact, Falcao was able to witness Mbappe’s rise to prominence, having played together with the Frenchman for a whole season before he eventually joined PSG.

The two were part of the iconic Monaco outfit which made history during the 2016/17 season.

Mbappe, though, has come a long way since and is currently leading the Real Madrid frontline, having recently starred in the win over Real Sociedad.

Despite being 39, Falcao has yet to retire from professional football. He is currently a free agent, with his last team being his boyhood club Millionarios.
