Manchester United will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host Southampton tonight.
The Red Devils were brilliant in the FA Cup third round at Arsenal last weekend.
They played with ten men for an hour but prevailed with a victory after goalkeeping heroics from Altay Bayindir.
The Turkish international made six saves in regulation time, including a Martin Odegaard penalty.
He was also brilliant in the penalty shoot-out, denying Kai Havertz with a superb stop.
United need to carry the momentum into the Saints game. Manager Ruben Amorim will expect nothing less than a victory.
Formation: 3-4-2-1
Predicted Line-up:
Bayindir redeemed himself last weekend after a dreadful display against Tottenham Hotspur last month. Despite this, Andre Onana remains an undisputed starter in the Premier League.
There could be one defensive change. Leny Yoro has been utilised off the bench in recent outings. The French wonderkid could replace Harry Maguire, who may be given a breather.
Maguire was sick towards the end of the FA Cup tie against the Gunners last weekend, as per Amorim.
Yoro is likely to line up alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez in central defence.
With Diogo Dalot suspended, there could be a position shift for Noussair Mazraoui. He could start at left wing-back, with Amad Diallo slotting in the right wing-back position.
Manuel Ugarte and Kobbie Mainoo have been brilliant as a central midfield pairing in the last two games against Liverpool and Arsenal. Amorim may prefer continuity, with the duo keeping their places.
Bruno Fernandes is poised to start in attacking midfield. Alejandro Garnacho grabbed the assist for Fernandes’ stellar strike against Arsenal. He should partner Fernandes again.
Joshua Zirkzee showed plenty of promise as a substitute against Arsenal and almost outclassed goalkeeper David Raya in extra-time.
The Dutchman should lead the attack with Rasmus Hojlund dropping to the bench.
