The Federação Paulista de Futebol has confirmed Santos’ Sereias da Vila will compete in the 2026 Paulistão Feminino.
The competition’s technical council is scheduled to meet on Thursday 26 at 14:00 at Edifício Pelé, the federation’s headquarters.
Alongside Santos, Taubaté, Corinthians, Ferroviária, Mirassol, Palmeiras, Red Bull Bragantino and São Paulo are set to take part.
The state championship is due to start in early May, with the final planned for December. Entries for the 29th edition were determined under the Paulista women’s club licensing regulations, which set administrative, sporting and infrastructure criteria.
Assessments by the FPF’s Women’s Football, Affiliation, Registration and Licensing, and Safety, Infrastructure and VAR departments defined the field for this season. Last year, the Sereias missed the knockout rounds, dropped into the Copa Paulista and finished runners-up. Santos have won the Paulistão Feminino four times, in 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2018.
