Marcus Thuram is fully fit, and will start Saturday evening’s Serie A clash between Napoli and Inter Milan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.

One of the big fitness concerns for Inter in the last couple weeks has concerned striker Marcus Thuram.

The 27-year-old had picked up an ankle knock during a Serie A clash with Fiorentina earlier this month. That came after a hard challenge by Viola defender Luca Ranieri on his ankle.

Thuram had to come off in that match shortly after sustaining the blow to his ankle in the first half.

Thuram did manage to come off the bench in a subsequent Serie A clash with Juventus. However, the France international was evidently lacking some physical sharpness.

Therefore, Thuram has not been in the squad for recent matches against Genoa and Lazio.

Thuram Fully Fit To Start In Napoli Vs Inter Milan Serie A Clash

The priority has always been to have Thuram back fit and available for this weekend’s Serie A clash with Napoli.

That match has the feel of a potential title-decider. It pits the top two teams in the table directly head-to-head.

Marcus Thuram has been working on getting back to his best in time for Saturday’s match.

And according to Sky, the 27-year-old is ready.

Thuram is not just available, reports Sky. The former Borussia Monchengladbach striker’s condition is looking very good, and he will be able to start the match.

That certainly constitutes a major fitness for Inter ahead of the crunch Serie A match.
