France’s Ousmane Dembélé uncertain to face Germany | OneFootball

Ousmane Dembélé (28) is a doubt to face Germany in the third-place play-off of the UEFA Nations League on Sunday after he came off with a minor muscle injury against Spain on Thursday night.

France lost to Spain in the semi-final of the Nations League. At one point, 4-0 down, Les Bleus salvaged some honour, netting four goals in the final 30 minutes to give La Roja a scare. However, they could not overturn the deficit, losing 5-4 on the night. It means that Luis De La Fuente’s side will meet Portugal in the final. Les Bleus, meanwhile, will face Germany in the third-place play-off.

It is currently unclear whether that will be with or without Dembélé, one of the most in-form players in world football in 2025. The Paris Saint-Germain forward came off in the 76th minute last night after feeling some discomfort in his left quadriceps. L’Équipe understands that he is now a major doubt to play on Sunday.
