Nantes could sign Frédéric Guilbert until the end of the season after the defender terminated his contract with Lecce on Friday.
According to L'Équipe, an agreement in principle has been reached for the 31-year-old to join Nantes.

The versatile defender, formerly of Strasbourg, also had spells at Bordeaux, Caen and Aston Villa. He has not featured for the Apulia side since the summer, following a full Serie A campaign last season.
He is expected at La Jonelière on Tuesday.
If completed, the move would make him Nantes’ fifth winter signing after Deiver Machado, Rémy Cabella, Ibrahima Sissoko and Ali Youssef, as they fight to stay up.
