The rapid rise of Ange-Yoan Bonny continues as the French forward will be the only senior attacker available for Inter Milan in Friday’s friendly against Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.

Lautaro Martinez and Pio Esposito are away on international duty and Marcus Thuram is still recovering from a muscle injury.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bonny’s importance won’t end with the Libyan exhibition match.

He’s also expected to start again on October 18 against Roma, as Chivu looks to break through Gasperini’s defensive wall – the tightest in Europe’s top five leagues in 2025, with just 13 goals conceded.
