From Wednesday, 14 Corinthians contracts reach the six-month point to 31 December, permitting pre-contracts under Brazilian football labour rules. According to Meu Timao, those players could then leave for free when their deals expire. In all, 16 athletes across the men's and women's squads are eligible.

The men's list comprises André Carrillo, André Ramalho, Jesse Lingard, Zakaria Labyad, Vitinho, Fabrizio Angileri and Hugo Farias. The women's group is Ana Morganti, Carol Nogueira, Agustina, Lelê, Ariel Godoi, Vic Albuquerque and Thaís Regina.

This comes amid financial strain, with salary delays over the past two months and June image rights still unpaid. Men's payments were due on the 20th, the women's five days earlier.

Beyond the 14 to year end, two more are already free to sign. Gisela Robledo's deal runs to 31 August, so she has been eligible since 28 February, with talks ongoing as the club seek a renewal amid overseas interest and her wish for development and greater prominence.

Memphis Depay is under contract only to 31 July, so has been eligible since 31 January. Corinthians have proposed a reduced salary, and executive Marcelo Paz has restated the desire to keep the number 10.

Three loanees also run to year end, each with a buy option. Kaio César of Al-Hilal is priced at six million euros for 50% of his rights, about R$ 35.5 million. Allan of Flamengo has a two million euro clause, and Matheus Pereira of Fortaleza costs two million dollars, roughly R$ 10.7 million.
