From Spain: Roma in pursuit of Said El Mala | OneFootball

January is approaching, and Roma are preparing to move forward in the transfer market to strengthen their attack.

Sporting director Frederic Massara is working to identify a young, financially sustainable player, in line with Financial Fair Play regulations.

According to Marca, among the names being monitored is Said El Mala, currently playing for Cologne, who has made an excellent start to the Bundesliga season with four goals and two assists in the first nine matchdays.

This is a different profile than a true striker, more suited to the attacking midfield or winger, but he could expand Gian Piero Gasperini’s attacking options.

The move, however, will be challenging: the 2006-born talent recently renewed his contract until 2030.
