Simply put FSG are very effective at implementing stable foundations for the Reds that will ensure the longevity of the football club and allow Liverpool to be able to compete at the very top end of the game.

That is why FSG are always exploring new lucrative opportunities. Including what could be worth up to £100m for Liverpool.

Why FSG are exploring a £100m mega deal with Adidas

It has been well reported now that FSG are exploring a move to sign a kit sponsorship deal with Adidas. There's even been reported kit leaks.

The club are currently contracted with Nike but that deal runs out at the end of the season allowing Liverpool to sign with the brand's competitors.

Currently, Liverpool receive around £50m a year from Nike according to Sports Business. However, the Reds will be pushing for a lot higher income in a purported deal with Adidas.

That is according to Football Insider's financial expert Stefan Borson, who claims that FSG will be aiming for £100m from Adidas or potentially even Nike, should the two come to terms on a new agreement.

That would closer to Manchester United's current ten season deal with Adidas, which profits them £900m according to the Independent, roughly £90m per season.

Liverpool are clearly more lucrative than United at the moment given the Reds are in the Champions League and have a record of winning trophies at the highest level.

By aiming to increase any potential deal to £100m FSG are making a smart move and one that will be of huge benefit to the Reds.
