Igor Tudor spoke about the the team’s ‘desire to win’ in the second half at Craven Cottage, but conceded it wasn’t enough as Fulham ran out 2-1 winners in the Premier League on Sunday.

The damage was done in the first half as goals from Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi saw us 2-0 down at the break. Fulham remained on top at the start of the second half but the tide started to turn as Richarlison headed home from Archie Gray’s cross for 2-1 on 65 minutes.

Richy, Mathys Tel and Pape Matar Sarr all impressed off the bench as we pushed for an equaliser without carving out further clear-cut chances – the best fell late to Sarr, who fired into the side-netting.

Speaking to us afterwards, Igor reflected: “I'm not happy with the performance. Fulham were better. Second half, we started to push. In the end, there was desire to win, but not enough. There was some positivity (in the second half) of course. We need to stay focused and work to progress.”

We now face five games in 17 days, starting with Everton’s visit to N17 on Thursday night (8pm UK).

Asked how difficult it must be to get his ideas across with such a schedule, Igor said: “We need do the best that we can, in a difficult moment, to stay all together, thinking positive and keep working.”
