Fulham agree €50m double deal for Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios | OneFootball

Fulham have agreed a €50m (£42.9m) double deal to sign Real Madrid duo Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios. According to Hounslow Herald, Madrid will retain a 30% sell-on clause in both transfers.

The London club will pay an initial €40m (£34.3m) for striker Garcia and €10m (£8.6m) for attacking midfielder Palacios. The pair are expected to reunite with head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, who worked with them in Madrid's academy.

Garcia, 22, broke into Madrid's first team last season, making 39 senior appearances and scoring eight. His haul included a hat-trick against Real Betis, and he took the Club World Cup Golden Boot with four goals.

Palacios, 21, made seven first-team outings in 2025-26, five of them in La Liga, after his senior debut in January.

The arrivals would provide new attacking options after Harry Wilson and Raul Jimenez left on free transfers to Leeds United and Wolves respectively.

They are set to be Fulham's first major signings of the window, joining Swedish forward Jonah Kusi-Asare after his loan from Bayern Munich was turned into a permanent move.

Arbeloa took charge at Craven Cottage this summer on a three-year deal, succeeding Marco Silva, who joined Benfica. Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, replaced Arbeloa at Madrid.
