Fulham fight back to avoid FA Cup exit against Stoke | OneFootball

Fulham came from 1-0 down against Championship side Stoke City to progress to the FA Cup fifth round thanks to Harrison Reed's late winner.

The home team started brightly against the Cottagers with Bae Jun-ho in particular impressing. Indeed it was the South Korean who opened the scoring in the 19th minute after a quick counter attack with Eric Bocat squaring the ball for his teammate to finish.

Marco Silva's side needed a drastic improvement in the second half and they levelled the scoring just 10 minutes after the restart with a goal of real quality.

Brazilian forward Kevin, who picked up the ball on the left, teased the defence before eventually firing past Tommy Simkin.

Fulham were able to bring on plenty of quality from the pitch with the likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Raúl Jiménez, and Harry Wilson all coming on from the bench.

The turnaround was complete late on after a mistake from the Stoke defence. There wasn't too much pressure on Simkin as he attempted to make his pass but the goalkeeper chose the wrong option allowing Harrison Reed to steal in, win the ball, and then fire into the net.

It was a strong performance from Mark Robins' side but they just didn't have the quality to keep Premier League opposition at bay with the Cottagers advancing to the next round.
