Fulham are in negotiations with Real Madrid over a move for highly-rated striker Gonzalo Garcia.

The 22-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought-after young forwards after an impressive breakthrough with Madrid, and Fulham are pushing to bring him to the Premier League.

A deal has not yet been agreed, but discussions between the clubs are progressing.

Garcia’s relationship with manager Alvaro Arbeloa is a significant factor in Fulham’s interest.
