Fulham travel to Villa Park on Sunday, aiming to continue their excellent recent form and pile more misery on a struggling Aston Villa side.
Marco Silva’s team are currently chasing a third consecutive Premier League victory, a feat they have not achieved since January 2023. To secure the win, however, the Cottagers must overcome a significant historical hoodoo. They have lost their last six consecutive away league games at Villa Park, a run stretching back to 2014. Manager Marco Silva also has a poor personal record against Villa, having lost six of his seven Premier League encounters with them.
Marco Silva has a near full-strength squad for the trip to Birmingham, with Timothy Castagne and Harrison Reed both available again. Emile Smith Rowe is also pushing for a starting role after impressing in the cup.
The attack will be led by Rodrigo Muniz, who has an excellent goal involvement record for the club, averaging a goal or assist every 136 minutes. He will be supported by the creative force of Alex Iwobi, whose 61 line-breaking passes behind a defensive line is among the best for any player since the start of last season.
Fulham predicted XI: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukić; Kevin, King, Iwobi; Muniz.
The Premier League fixture will be played at Villa Park on Sunday, 28 September 2025, with kick-off at 2:00 p.m. BST.
The match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League in the UK. Coverage begins at 1:30 pm BST.
