Gabi Zanotti equals Corinthians women’s appearance record in Botafogo win | OneFootball

Gabi Zanotti drew level with Corinthians’ all-time appearance record on 258 after starting their 3-1 win at Botafogo on Friday night at Nilton Santos.

According to Meu Timao, the playmaker’s tally matches Grazi’s mark. The former number seven played from January 2016 to November 2023, scoring 79 goals, supplying 27 assists and winning 15 titles.

Zanotti has been at the club since 2018, the year the women’s team was reactivated. She has 89 goals, including one on Friday, plus 34 assists and 18 titles. In those matches Corinthians have 200 wins, 38 draws and 28 defeats.

She also holds two further records, most goals at Neo Química Arena with 10, and the most titles of any Corinthians player, male or female.

Individually, she is the only two-time Rainha da América, awarded by El País in 2024 and 2025. On both occasions she finished as top scorer and champion of the Libertadores Feminina. Tamires also earned the honour in 2021.

If she features in the next round, Zanotti will move clear of Grazi. Corinthians are set to face Red Bull Bragantino on Friday three April in the Brasileirão Feminino at 21:00, with the venue to be confirmed.
