Gabriel Paulista registered for Paulista and eligible to make Corinthians debut

Corinthians registered Gabriel Paulista for the Campeonato Paulista on Wednesday, making the centre-back eligible to play. He could make his debut.

According to Meu Timao, he has been placed on List A for first-team players, taking Corinthians to 22 registered names. The FPF allows clubs to register up to 35 players until 13 February.

List B, reserved for under-21 academy players, currently has eight names. No academy centre-backs are included.

With Gabriel Paulista on board, coach Dorival Júnior now has six centre-back options, the newcomer joins André Ramalho, Cacá, Félix Torres, Gustavo Henrique and João Pedro Tchoca. Renato, who is separated from the squad, was omitted.

Corinthians visit Red Bull Bragantino at Estádio Municipal de Bragança Paulista at 19:30, in the second round of the Paulista.
