Liverpool locked horns with Galatasaray at RAMS Park earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Reds made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal from the penalty spot in the 16th minute when Victor Osimhen got his name on the scoresheet. Arne Slot’s men failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

The Merseyside club pushed on in search of the equaliser in the second half but crashed to a lackluster 1-0 loss away from home.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against Galatasaray.

He made a few solid saves at the back but had to be replaced early in the second half due to injury.

RB: Dominik Szoboszlai – 6/10

Szoboszlai gave away a cheap penalty in the first half and lacked the cutting edge going forward.

CB: Ibrahima Konate – 7/10

He won his fair share of aerial duels but was far from convincing at the back.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 6.5/10

Van Dijk dealt with the danger when he could, but failed to keep Victor Osimhen quiet tonight.
