Everton face a decision over Tim Iroegbunam this summer, with Galatasaray and other European clubs monitoring the midfielder.

Takvim reports that the 23-year-old has emerged as a leading defensive target for the Turkish champions, part of a push to recruit young Premier League talent.

The Istanbul side are tracking him to add physical presence and ball winning to midfield options. Borussia Dortmund and Stuttgart have previously been credited with interest.

Since arriving from Aston Villa in 2024, Iroegbunam has progressed under David Moyes. He made 31 appearances last season in all competitions, including 18 Premier League starts.

Moyes has praised his improvement, highlighting his speed across the pitch, willingness to compete and strong character.

Everton are understood to value him at about €18m (£15m), and his contract is entering its final year, which could affect negotiations.

New signings Hayden Hackney and Merlin Röhl offer alternatives, though Idrissa Gana Gueye’s exit leaves a vacancy for a natural shield in front of the defence. Approving another midfield departure could undermine depth, so the club must balance any fee against retaining a trusted squad option before the new campaign.
