Pep praise for 'incredible' Doku

It was all about recovery for those involved in Saturday’s crucial Premier League victory over Brentford.

Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush got the goals at the Etihad in what a dominant display from Pep Guardiola’s side.

We did have to wait until the second period for the breakthrough, but once Doku had got us on our way, the result never really appeared in doubt.

It left us two points behind Arsenal with three games each remaining and kept us in the hunt for yet another title.

There’s no rest though, with four games in the next two weeks to complete the season.

The first of those sees Crystal Palace make the journey north on Wednesday, with that game now taking the full focus of Pep and his players.
