Manchester United faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure maximum points on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 14th minute when Mason Mount found the back of the net. However, Luke Shaw scored an unfortunate own goal just 13 minutes later before Kevin Schade put Brentford ahead in the 33rd minute. Ruben Amorim’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Schade scored again for the home team in the 70th minute before Yoane Wissa joined in on the goal-scoring act just four minutes later. Alejandro Garnacho got a goal back for Man United in the 82nd minute. Amad Diallo also scored an injury-time goal as the Mancunian outfit crashed to a poor 4-3 loss away from home.
