He played 602 times for United, putting him fifth on the all-time appearance list.

Neville scored seven goals during his career at United and won everything there is to be won.

The England international gobbled up eight league titles, three FA Cups and two Champions Leagues during his career.

He was also named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year five times in his career.

Hall of Fame

According to The Daily Mail, the 50 year old “has become the 25th individual to be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.”

The report continues, “Neville was presented with a Hall of Fame medallion by United legend Bryan Robson at Old Trafford ahead of the Red Devils’ clash against Brighton to mark the moment.”

Speaking on Sky Sports about the event Neville commented, “it’s a very nice moment and made more special by the fact my hero growing up Bryan Robson, who was the epitome of everything I wanted to be as a kid, presented it to me.”

He continued, “and the fact that the 24 previous winners have voted for it, but yeah I played with some incredible footballers under an amazing manager out there at Old Trafford in front of these fans. So my job was made a lot easier every week by the quality that surrounded me.”

Neville is the ninth representative of the club to be voted into the illustrious club, joining Eric Cantona, Roy Keane, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Paul Scholes, Rio Ferdinand, Andy Cole and Sir Alex Ferguson.
