The transfer market officially opens on June 29th, but several teams are already starting to talk about targets or prospects for which the club is ready to go crazy.
This is the case with Roma, which according to the latest rumors is working to bring Mason Greenwood to the capital.
The English winger is shining in Ligue 1 with Marseille and could leave France this summer for a new experience.
The Giallorossi’s Champions League qualification undoubtedly increases the club’s transfer market appeal. However, there are denials regarding advanced negotiations between the clubs.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Greenwood is a dream for Gian Piero Gasperini.
The coach appreciates several tactical aspects of the English winger, but at the moment nothing has been finalized between Roma and Marseille.
Other aspects remain to be determined: the competition, the player’s true desire, and, last but not least, the French club’s position.
The fact that the 2001-born player was directly requested by the coach from the club certainly raises the priority of the target.
Gasperini is a significant figure in Trigoria, and this could convince the management to make a concrete attempt for the striker.
