A glimmer of hope in a tremendously challenging season for Dybala.
Today will be the day of truth to see if he’ll be able to even sit on the bench against Juventus on Sunday evening.
Dybala hasn’t played since January 25th, and knee inflammation has plagued him for a month. He needed to let a couple of weeks pass, and on Monday he began increasing his workload.
He trained separately yesterday as well; he’s still having some difficulty shooting, but, as Il Messaggero reports, he’ll try to rejoin the group this morning.
He wants to be there, and it couldn’t be otherwise; the stakes are too high to miss out again.
A turning point is needed, because his numbers this season are too bad to be true. He scored two goals in the league, the same number as Cristante and Koné, fewer than Dovbyk and Ferguson, and it took new arrival Malen a month to overtake him.
