Gastón Hernández keen on Boca switch as club targets early January deals | OneFootball

Boca are pushing to reinforce for 2026 and have moved for San Lorenzo captain Gastón Hernández. Manager Marcelo Delgado is handling several negotiations and wants swift conclusions.

According to LaNumer12.com.ar, Hernández was offered by his representatives, Boca assessed the option and decided to advance. Talks have been slowed by San Lorenzo's institutional crisis, and a fee of around four million dollars is being discussed.

The centre-back wants to play for Boca, though he is also waiting for an overseas offer that has not arrived. Boca aim to close the move in early January when the window opens for the Torneo Apertura, the Copa Argentina and the Copa Libertadores.

Boca are also working to sign Marino Hinestroza. An opening bid of four million dollars plus one million in add-ons was rejected by Atlético Nacional, who own the winger's rights.

Even so, the deal remains alive and the club believe they can raise the offer to move closer to the Colombian side's demands. Hinestroza is viewed as a key piece to strengthen Boca's attack next season, alongside the pursuit of Hernández.
