Gennaro Gattuso wants a new centre-forward at Lazio after a season in which no Biancocelesti player topped five goals. He sees Tijjani Noslin as better suited to a supporting role.

According to Sky Sport Italia, he is dreaming of Santiago Gimenez, believing the Milan striker has the tools of a top forward. The Mexican made his name at Feyenoord before a €32 million move to Milan in January 2025.

Sky Sport Italia adds the 25-year-old has struggled, with seven goals and two assists in 37 appearances, and could depart after 18 difficult months despite a deal to June 2029.

La Repubblica reports that Lorenzo Lucca is an alternative target. The Torino youth product thrived at Udinese to earn a €35 million switch to Napoli last summer, then fell behind Rasmus Hojlund and joined Nottingham Forest on loan in January, scoring once in nine games.

With finances tight, Lazio might find either move hard to fund. La Repubblica says the hierarchy are urging Gattuso to prioritise relaunching Petar Ratkov, signed from RB Salzburg in January as Taty Castellanos’ replacement, but consigned to the bench under Maurizio Sarri.
