While Barcelona are comfortably beating the likes of Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, they are struggling against weaker sides. They again dropped points in the La Liga as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Getafe on Saturday night.
The Spanish side are preparing to lock horns with Benfica in the Champions League this midweek. They are second on the points table and a win will secure their direct qualification. Hence, Hansi Flick’s men will be desperate for a victory.
Defence
Wojciech Szczęsny has already shown that he can still compete at the highest level and should be replacing Inaki Pena between the sticks. Right-back Jules Kounde has been an impressive performer and retains his spot as usual.
Hansi Flick is likely to pair up Pau Cubarsi with Ronald Araujo at the heart of the defence once again. It also means that Andreas Christensen will have to wait for his opportunity. Left-back Alejandro Balde should also be retaining his position in the starting XI.

Midfield
Marc Casado has solidified his role as a deep-lying midfielder and it will be tough to operate without him in the middle of the park.
With Dani Olmo unavailable due to a muscular problem, Gavi is likely to operate as the attacking midfielder and Pedri will be key once again.
Attack
Lamine Yamal should be providing his services from the right side of the pitch with Raphinha running down the other flank.
Robert Lewandowski’s form has been on the downside in recent weeks and it’s a matter of concern now. However, he leads the attacking unit once again.
Dani Olmo (muscular), Marc Bernal (knee), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (knee), and Inigo Martinez (hamstring) are all sidelined for this clash.
