According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan coach Paulo Fonseca could switch to a 4-3-3 system against Juventus on Saturday, moving Christian Pulisic to the right flank and starting Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the middle of the park.

Milan hosts Juventus at San Siro on Saturday, and the Rossoneri need a result against their rivals. Although they have a game in hand, Milan are already eight points below leaders Napoli.

It is no secret that the Rossoneri’s biggest concern this season has been defensive stability. According to Gazzetta, Fonseca could further protect his backline by starting Loftust-Cheek against Juventus.

The former Chelsea man would join the irreplaceable Tijjani Reijnders and Youssouf Fofana as a central midfielder.

Fonseca’s tactical change would push Samuel Chukwueze to the bench and move Pulisic to the right winger role.

In a recent press conference, Fonseca said he prefers using Pulisic as an attacking midfielder. However, according to Gazzetta, the need to protect the defence will probably convince the Portuguese tactician to change Pulisic’s position to add physical strength in the middle of the park.
