The future of Matias Soulé remains one of the hottest topics in the Roma transfer market.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sunderland have conducted an inquiry with Roma to assess the possibility of a deal.

Ghisolfi, currently the English club’s sporting director, knows Soulé well and continues to appreciate his quality and prospects. Sunderland is reportedly preparing an offer to convince Roma, who value the striker between €35 and €40 million.

Soulé’s appreciation for the Premier League is well-known, and this could be a favorable factor in the deal.

The Argentine, coming off a season in which he showcased his talent for long stretches, remains a young prospect with plenty of room for growth.
