Go Ahead Eagles 1-1 Groningen at De Adelaarshorst as the hosts rose from 13th to 12th in the Eredivisie after Tika de Jonge cancelled out Mathis Suray's opener.

In the 41st minute, Mathis Suray finished low from Milan Smit's pass to put the Supereagles ahead.

After the restart, Tika de Jonge levelled with a precise strike from outside the box, set up by Jorg Schreuders (61.).

Jari de Busser parried a Schreuders drive as Groningen pushed, and Etienne Vaessen denied Oskar Sivertsen late on (67., 87.).

Melvin Boel introduced Yassir Salah Rahmouni at half time, while Dick Lukkien turned to Oskar Zawada and Tygo Land soon after the hour, but the tie stayed level as Younes Taha struck the post (72.).

Supereagles recorded eight attempts and one corner. Groningen registered 14 attempts and eight corners.
