GOALLESS IN TURIN

It ended 0-0 between AC Milan and Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. It was an intense encounter between two organised teams. The Rossoneri travelled to Turin full of confidence following a convincing 2-1 victory over Napoli. Once again, they looked organised and moved the ball with patience, trying to strike on the counter through Pulisic and Gimenez. It was a game of fine details, with few defensive mishaps and plenty of intensity over the second ball. It was a test of maturity, passed thanks to solidity and focus - only the final touch was missing.

AC Milan created the clearer-cut chances,  with Pulisic spurning an opportunity to take the lead from the spot and an imprecise Leão coming close on a couple of occasions. Mike Maignan made a stunning save to keep a clean sheet, as he denied Gatti from point-blank range. Allegri’s side come away with a single point. The Rossoneri’s first draw of the season takes them to 13 points in the table, just behind joint leaders Napoli and Roma. Up next, AC Milan host Fiorentina at San Siro, in the hopes of maintaining this unbeaten run.

The American international tried again in the 54th minute, but his shot was saved by Di Gregorio. Allegri tried to change things up-front, bringing on Leão and Nknunku to replace Gimenez and Pulisic. In the 73rd minute, a cross came to Leão, but he squandered a chance from just yards out.
