Real Sociedad completed their second training session in England on Monday at Aston Villa's training ground, ahead of facing Aston Villa on Tuesday in Walsall.

According to Diario Vasco, Pellegrino Matarazzo kept the intensity high and included Kubo and Sucic, though Kubo withdrew early to continue his recovery plan.

The morning was full of goals, with Zakharyan chipping into the top corner after a fine feint before team-mates rushed to embrace the Russian. Aguirre also found the angle with a classy finish.

Tactical work again featured, with corners and wide free-kicks rehearsed. On a reduced pitch, three against three games lasted no more than 30 seconds so players had to finish quickly.

Zubeldia impressed, solid at the back and scoring twice. Goti added a right-footed finish in a high-intensity drill, with Matarazzo heavily involved from the touchline.

The session ended with penalties after a draw in the previous exercise. Marrero saved one, while Remiro converted his effort past the Azpeitia-born keeper. Left out against Wolves as minutes were managed, the Cascante native now looks set to feature against Aston Villa in a friendly viewed as higher profile.

Wednesday brings a recovery session before the squad travel after lunch to Donostia, due at Zubieta by mid-afternoon.
