Google Ask Gemini has predicted the 2026-27 Premier League table as Leeds United prepare for their second season back, outlining a top six headed by familiar contenders.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds and Sunderland both stayed up on their Premier League return. Daniel Farke’s side finished 14th, eight points clear, with safety sealed with three games left, while Sunderland ended seventh to reach next season’s Europa League.
Burnley, Wolves and West Ham were relegated. They are replaced by Championship winners Coventry City, runners-up Ipswich Town and play-off winners Hull City for 2026-27.
Coventry, Ipswich and Hull are among the early favourites to go straight back down, and the second season back is often viewed as trickier than the first.
Gemini’s top-six projection starts with Arsenal to repeat, citing a young, battle-hardened core hitting its prime. Manchester City are placed second amid post-Pep uncertainty, though their talent base remains unmatched.
Liverpool are pegged for third as they seek a rebound after an underwhelming post-title season. Manchester United are tipped for fourth, trending upward under new direction, with Bruno Fernandes expected to thrive.
Chelsea are projected fifth, boasting a high ceiling in a new era but needing greater consistency from Cole Palmer and others. Aston Villa are forecast sixth, expected to cement their European place.
