Leon Goretzka will leave FC Bayern in the summer, as the club has already confirmed. The question remains as to where he will move to. One interested party is now emerging as the favourite
Numerous clubs from Europe are interested in Leon Goretzka. Atletico and Arsenal already made overtures in the winter, but Goretzka decided to stay in Munich until the summer because he has the chance to win major titles in a familiar environment
And so far, this decision certainly seems to have paid off. Even if he doesn’t play a starring role, the chances of winning titles are undoubtedly immense. But at some point, a decision must and will be made about his future. Several interested parties are still in the running

The names linked with Leon Goretzka are all prominent. Arsenal, Manchester United, Atletico and a huge group from Serie A, including Juventus, Napoli and Inter: all of these clubs are interested or have even made contact. AC Milan, who have repeatedly signed players on a free transfer or for small money in recent years, are also among these teams
In the last few years alone, the Rossoneri have secured players such as Luka Modrić and Adrien Rabiot in the low price segment. Due to the lack of a transfer fee, Goretzka would also belong to this shelf of players, even if his salary in Munich is very high
Milan are trying to cushion this by offering a handout on the one hand and integrating many performance-related bonuses into the contract on the other. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, however, another point is essential and responsible for Milan now being in the best position
The Rossoneri are prepared to offer Goretzka a three-year contract. While longer contracts for players over a certain age were a taboo subject at Milan in the past, they are now open to it because the market is steering things in this direction. As things stand, the competition is unanimously offering Goretzka a two-year contract, but can of course still make improvements. For now, Milan remain the most likely option.
