Leeds United moved three points clear of the Premier League relegation zone with a 1-1 draw at Brentford, coming from behind late on.

Leeds created the clearer chances before the break, Noah Okafor twice went close and his cross towards Jayden Bogle was cut out. Brentford briefly had a penalty, then VAR overturned it for offside after Gabriel Gudmundsson’s foul on Dango Ouattara.

After a strong Leeds spell early in the second half, Jordan Henderson put the hosts ahead when Rico Henry’s cross deflected into his path.

The visitors levelled on 83 minutes, Dominic Calvert-Lewin heading in from substitute Willy Gnonto’s excellent cross. Ratings saw Joe Rodon and Gabriel Gudmundsson score seven, with six for Lucas Perri, Jayden Bogle, Jaka Bijol and Pascal Struijk.
