Grêmio unveiled their New Balance kit in a 2-0 win over Vitória at the Arena on Thursday, opening a new partnership after more than 10 years with Umbro. The club are the fourth Série A side to change supplier in 2026.

Globo.com reports that the agreement scheduled a mid-season rollout, with Vasco, Fluminense and Atlético-MG already announcing new deals this year. Bahia also launched a new strip this week, though it did not switch supplier.

Atlético-MG have altered their shirt brand most often across the past 20 years. Nike, now making their kits, is the club’s 10th different partner in that period.

Bragantino and Vitória follow on nine. For Bragantino, the 2024 campaign counted as in-house production, with no external brand on the shirt.

Vitória used their own label, Nego, between 2021 and 2022. Bahia adopted the Esquadrão brand for seven years, from 2018 to 2025, before agreeing a deal with Puma, which supplies other City Group clubs.

Two long-running tie-ups stand out. Corinthians have worked with Nike since 2003 and extended the contract late last year for 10 more seasons, to 2036. Athletico-PR’s Umbro partnership dates to 1997, with the current deal running to the end of 2029.
