Grêmio in talks to sign Junior Barranquilla forward José Enamorado

Grêmio are in talks to sign Junior Barranquilla forward José Enamorado, 26, after announcing Caio Paulista and progressing a deal for Tetê.

According to Globo.com, negotiations with the Colombian club are ongoing, with details still to be agreed, and Grêmio are pursuing a permanent deal.

Junior are understood to want US$ 3 million, around R$ 16.3 million. Enamorado is contracted until the end of 2026, which means he could sign a pre-contract mid-year and leave for free at the end of the term.

A right-sided forward, he previously played for Deportivo Cali, Real Cartagena and Santa Fe before joining Junior in 2023.

He delivered his best season last year with 11 goals and 7 assists in 53 appearances, and was named the best player in Junior’s Torneio Clausura triumph.
