Marca reports that Alex Grimaldo has agreed personal terms with Atletico Madrid over a summer move.
Atletico appear to have intensified their pursuit of the Bayer Leverkusen left-back. The report adds that attention now turns to a fee, with Leverkusen seeking around €15 million.

Since joining Leverkusen in 2023, Grimaldo has repeatedly indicated a desire to return to Spain before the end of his career.
He has one year left on his contract, so a sale this summer would be logical for Die Werkself if no extension is agreed.
An agreement between the clubs would still be required for any transfer to go through.
