According to Globo.com, Gustavo Martins and Tetê received the lowest ratings as Gremio were beaten by Palmeiras, despite briefly levelling.
Gremio equalised when Carlos Vinícius turned a long pass from Gustavo Martins into a goal. The defender later sliced a cross, gifting Marlon Freitas the chance for Palmeiras' second.
Enamorado was the most threatening forward before the interval. Amuzu improved the attack from the bench, going close with a fierce effort from distance and driving counters. Gabriel Mec also perked up the middle.
Monsalve did not knit play together and a flashy dribble in the box failed. Nardoni and Dodi worked hard but the shield in front of the defence was porous. Pedro Gabriel had a modest Série A debut, sending one shot from outside the area.
Weverton made important saves in the first half and was not blamed for the goal conceded. Pavón had mixed defensive moments but was diligent, while Viery again looked established at centre-back. Noriega did his job before making way through fatigue.
Carlos Vinícius is in a rich vein of form, though he lost his man for Marlon Freitas' goal. Braithwaite came on after the second goal yet little came off. Coach Luís Castro had to juggle absences, his interval changes improved the side, but the case for starting Tetê weakens.
