According to L'Équipe, Habib Beye and Stade Rennais failed to reach a settlement before the LFP legal commission on Tuesday afternoon, leaving the dispute unresolved.

Beye had been stood down as Rennes head coach on nine February. He and his employer attended the hearing by videoconference to seek a resolution to their dispute, but no agreement emerged.

The stalemate delays any potential move to OM, who have parted with Roberto De Zerbi.

At Rennes, Franck Haise is due to sign until 2027.

He is expected to take the bench on Sunday at Auxerre, in the 23rd round of Ligue 1, kick-off 15:00. That follows Sébastien Tambouret's successful interim on Friday against Paris-SG, a 3-1 win.
